Check Your Carts Before the First Collection
Confirm the collection provider and day for your specific address. Cart ownership and collection arrangements can differ by property, so do not assume the previous resident's setup still applies. If the carts have food residue or persistent odors, an empty cart is easier to inspect and prepare for cleaning than one filled for pickup.
The Move-In Clean, If Your Route Is Available
For an eligible Austin address, a one-time move-in cleaning is $50 for one bin, plus $10 for each additional bin, with no recurring commitment. Two bins are $60. The service includes hot-water pressure washing at temperatures up to 250°F, an EPA-registered disinfectant applied to precleaned bin surfaces according to its label directions, and an odor-control treatment.
Setting Up Recurring Service
For eligible Austin addresses, recurring plans start at $20 per completed visit for one bin or $25 for two bins, plus $5 for each additional bin, on an initial 12-month commitment. There is no service payment upfront, though online booking may place a temporary $1 card-verification hold. These are our current launch prices; customers who enroll at a launch price keep that price for their initial 12-month term. Payment is charged after each completed visit. New Carts Still Need Care
A newly issued cart may be clean at move-in, but food residue and odors can build up with use, especially in Texas heat. Bag waste securely, close the lid, and check the interior after collection. A cleaning visit can be considered when buildup appears; it does not need to be scheduled before the cart has been used.
